Our Fashion’s Night Out journey began around 1pm on Thursday during lunchtime when Ashley, Sadaaf and I sat down to make our game plan for the night.
When 6 o’clock rolled around, we hopped into the Vespa dripping in J/Hadley jewels (a little self-promotion never hurt) and headed for midtown.
Coach invited seven fashion bloggers to join them on Madison Avenue for the re-launch of their classic duffle. We were so excited to meet Kelly Framel of The Glamourai! We spoke with her for a few minutes about our common interest (jewelry of course- she has her own costume jewelry collection!!!) before she was whisked away for press photos. We also adored meeting Chriselle of The Chriselle Factor! She loved the J/Hadley signature necklaces so much that she put a few on while at the party! As huge SNL fans, we were ecstatic to see Seth Meyers as he popped in at Coach for a quick appearance. He immediately hopped behind the bar and even carded the J/Hadley girls (we were flattered!).
Roger Vivier also deserves a mention as one of the best FNO parties of the night! They had Jeanne Marine, an amazing singer, who wore our champagne diamond snake ring while performing. Vivier also had a photo booth for the partygoers to take their picture with supeRmodel, Jessica Stam.
Some of the other parties that we were able to make it to included Bloomingdales, Tods, and BCBGMaxAzria. We met some amazing people, including Brett "feathers" in sky high stilettos and an enormous hat- the photo above doesn't do it justice. Everyone looked fabulous, and it was so nice to see all of NYC putting its best fashion foot forward.
We're already counting down until FNO 2012!
